Iβll show you a letter. You say the sound it makes β fast!
Iβll say a sound. You write the letter in the air (or on the table with a finger).
Letβs put sounds together. Iβll say them slowly; you blend them into a word (or word part).
Todayβs new idea: the letter a says /Δ/ β like the first sound in apple.
Quick playful cool-down
Echo: You say /Δ/ (apple sound). Kids echo /Δ/. Do it a few times β silly voices welcome.
Robot: Break βappleβ into robot talk, then smash it back together:
